In Tamil Nadu, Chennai is one of the major and busiest Airports which is connected with 19 Countries. Also 3rd Largest Airport in India next to Mumbai and Delhi.

Chennai, Coimbatore, Madurai, and Tiruchirappalli are the four International Airports in Tamil Nadu.

Tuticorin, Salem, and Neyveli are the three domestic Airports in Tamil Nadu.
Vellore and Hosur Airports are not operating for Commercial use.

Roadways

Roadways in the state are linked with almost every major city of India. Moreover, Chennai has one of Asia’s biggest Bus station, CMBT. 

Chennai Mofussil Bus Terminus (CMBT) has 6 platforms with 180 Bus bays. Parking space for Cars, Bikes are available inside the terminus.  Both A/C and non-A/C buses are available for the cities such as Bangalore, Cochin, Trivandrum, Hyderabad, etc… Now State Corporation introduces several Deluxe A/C, Non-A/C buses for the passengers. Private Omni Buses are operating from Chennai to thought out South India with Sleeper, Semi Sleeper coaches.

Southern Railways is headquartered at Chennai with 6 divisions.
Thiruvananthapuram, Palakkad, Chennai, Madurai, Trichy, and Salem. Southern Railway assists Rail route for all major cities of Tamil Nadu, Kerala, Pondicherry, Andhra Pradesh, and Karnataka. More than 50 Crore people travel on Southern Railways every year.
